Seasoned Reliable Practitioner

Michael was hired to help with a case involving two cross-border jurisdictions. An amount of undue stress, frustration and mental/financial cost was unfortunately beyond normal, largely due to us having to deal with an extremely dishonest opposing side, whose counsel (a gentleman named Gaurav Bali) ...in a counter motion was close to facing the judge and get sanctioned due to his unethical/illegal actions on this case (which included them faking the evidence, as well as illegally subpoenaing my former employers and financial institutions). Amidst all of this, Michael was the one who actually helped manage this mess, providing much needed clarity and guidance as to what to do and how to sanction them. I plan on further retaining (and working with) Michael going forward, and highly recommend him as a person/professional with the highest standard of integrity.

Michael has got your back!

I had a difficult situation where I was facing a large financial demand. I retained Michael to navigate the case and negotiate with the opposing party on my behalf. Michael's superb negotiation skills resulted in an almost total reduction of the demand, and at all times, he consulted me every step of... the way and made sure that the course of action he charted was one I was comfortable with. Michael is a consummate professional. Michael provided excellent counsel and brought my matter to resolution quickly at a reasonable rate. It was exactly the outcome I wanted and I have Michael to thank for that.

Very Sharp

Without getting into detail about my case, I'd just like to say that Michael dug me out of a pretty deep hole. His preparation, craft and determination enabled me to prevail. Thanks to him, my family and children can live a much better life.

Compassionate and professional

Michael is an interesting blend of dry humor, and traditional common sense. You get a sense that he's been in the situation you're currently in hundreds of times, and can navigate you towards the best situation. In my case, Michael was unfortunately dealt a bad hand, as the lawyer prior to him made m...y case incredibly more difficult and expensive costing me thousands of dollars. Michael did what he could, getting fees taken off, and taking the case in a positive direction. I only wish he had been in charge the entire time.
