Paid $5000 just to retain her for my daughter's divorce. She did less than nothing. Years lasted, I filed my own divorce papers which included several motions to compel as well as contempt of court against the Respondent. Had I known how easy a simple divorce was, I would have used the $5000 to g...o to Kauai.

Lied her way through out entire divorce settlement to make millions of dollars. She’ll keep creating problems over and over and never let you finalize your divorce case. Hope she gets sued for malpractice soon. Unfortunately she burned through our entire life savings trying to get the divorce finali...zed. Lowest of lowest human beings!

Ms. Martinelli passed us to her associate who left the firm prior to completing our case. We were past to another completely incompetent associate who showed up late to court, played with her hair, sat like a lump at the table without disputing lies, standing up for previous court rulings or being an...y form of advocate for her client. Horrible experience as well as extremely expensive. Paying for an attorney that has your best interest and works hard is understandable, this is not this group, you do not get what you pay for.

Mary Martinelli was not honest from the start and continued to ask for more money throughout the process claiming that the goal was within reach. Well, several hundred thousand dollars later and I have less time with my child, travel a greater distance to see my child and the relationship has deteri...orated. She promised great results but only delivered on great billable hours. it makes me sick knowing the stress she put my child through just to pay for her lavish lifestyle.

This woman represented my boyfriend's now ex-wife, as her second attorney in a divorce. I pity the poor ex-wife because she wasted so much money. She spent approximately $25,000 of her own money to receive an additional $4000 from her original divorce agreement. My boyfriend also incurred additiona...l attorney fees of his own AND he was required to pay additional fees of $15,000 to Martinelli in the final arbitration agreement. Bottom line....this is the kind of attorney who gives the entire profession a bad name, in my opinion. Why she has not been investigated by the California State Bar is beyond me.
