Biography
I am an Associate in the Business and Tax Services Department at The Burton Law Firm. My practice focuses on the areas of both business law and nonprofit law. I represent clients of all types, including individuals, small businesses, major corporations, public charities, private foundations, nonprofit public benefit corporations, and other various nonprofit organizations in a wide range of business and transactional matters, with an emphasis on general corporate representation, and strategic counseling on entity formation, governance, ownership, structure, and compliance. I also assist and advise nonprofit organizations with entity formation, obtaining and maintaining tax-exempt status, operational, governance, and compliance matters, and other various corporate transactions.
Since joining the Burton Law Firm in 2020, I was named a “Rising Star” by Northern California Super Lawyers in 2021 and 2022, which is awarded to the top 2.5% of practitioners under the age of 40. I have also been named as one of the Top Attorneys in Sacramento and profiled by Sacramento Magazine in 2022. I have also received personal recognition from the Rotary Club of Irvine for my work with various nonprofits, and I serve as the Events Chairperson for the Sacramento chapter of California Young Tax Lawyers. I am also a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association, the Northern California Planned Giving Council, and the California Lawyers Association.
