Biography
Kristin M. Kaminski is admitted to practice in California, Nevada and Wisconsin. As an experienced estate planning and administration attorney, Kristin takes a hands-on approach to client representation and works to create a strategy to fit each family’s individual needs. Kristin works with trustees, executors, and personal representatives to assist them navigate the trust or estate administration process. Kristin also assists heirs and beneficiaries to preserve their interests and she is prepared to protect her clients’ rights in the courtroom.
Kristin earned her Juris Doctorate from Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she received Dean’s List honors and admittance into the Law School’s Pro Bono Honors Society. While in law school, Kristin successfully represented claimants in contested unemployment insurance hearings. She also gained experience interning with the U.S. Navy JAG Corps at Pearl Harbor, Hawai’i, and studied at the University of Hawai’i William S. Richardson School of Law. Kristin earned her Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Business and Management from Alverno College, a top-ranked Catholic women’s college, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Kristin is an active member in the community, serving on the board of the South Placer Estate Planning Council. Kristin is also a member of the Probate & Estate Planning Section of the Placer County Bar Association, the Rotary Club of Fair Oaks, and serves as a volunteer attorney with the Sacramento Estate Planning Clinic. Kristin was named a 2018 Northern California Rising Star with Super Lawyers.
