Mr Navis assured me he could handle the eviction of my extremely difficult tenant. He filed a three day notice incorrectly, never filed a 60 day notice as the law required, and ended up costing me over $2,000 dollars in legal aid fees and his own fees. Nothing was ever done beyond the three day notic...e. This started in Feb it is now August. The tenant is still there causing disruption on a daily basis. The legal aid fees resulted from his improper filings.. Now I am starting all over but can't afford legal assistance. Stay away from this incompetent attorney.

According to his stationary, his law offices are now located at 4 Crow Canyon Ct., San Ramon, CA. I signed the paperwork for him to evict a non-paying tenant on Jan 11, 2013 and, of course, paid him via credit card. It was almost impossible to get him to respond via phone or email to my requests fo...r status. Then, he asked for another $300 to take the final steps which was a writ of possession and a sheriff's lock out documents. After nearly 3 months, on March 29, 2011, there was a court dismissal hearing - the eviction almost got dismissed for lack of paperwork from Mr Navis. My tenants finally moved out on April 14, after no rent payments for 4 months and doing several thousands of dollars in damages. I sent an email to Mr Navis same day, 4/14, letting him know no further action was needed and asked for my $300 back. He did not respond and on May 9, almost 4 months to the day of hiring Mr Navis, the sheriff showed up at the rental house and left the notice of lock out with the contractor who was doing repairs to the property. I was originally told by Mr Navis office that the eviction could take 45 to 60 days. January 11 to May 9 is more like 120 days. Mr Navis did a very poor job of representing my interests and blamed it all on the court system.
