I was hit with a request from opposing counsel that I could not find the answer to. Attorney Kassman responded just a few minutes after I posted and was spot on. I avoided sanctions, extra motions and my case possibly being dismissed. Truckloads of thanks for being quick and accurate.

Mr. Kassman responded to my Appeal question about filing documents. The court document told me to do one thing, but the law says another, and he found the answer! He looked outside the posted question and reviewed the link I sent him and corrected me. This is more than expected. Thank you!

Victory for my client. The Court of Appeal held that my client had unlawfully been denied opportunity for legal research. Court vacated the restitution order and remanded the case for a new hearing.
Complete victory for my client. The Court of Appeal reversed the judgment as to the damages awarded to our opponent but affirmed the judgment as to the damages awarded to my client.
Complete victory for my client. The Court of Appeal held that the officer's stop of my client's car violated his Fourth Amendment right to be free of unreasonable seizures. The conviction was reversed (168 Cal.App.4th 1050).
Complete victory for my client. The Court of Appeal held that the police had no reasonable basis for believing client was armed and dangerous, which the Fourth Amendment requires for an involuntary pat-down search. The conviction was reversed.
United States Supreme Court granted my petition for certiorari (that is, agreed to hear the case). At that point, I stepped aside and allowed more experienced Supreme Court attorneys to take the lead. We ultimately lost by a 6-3 vote (547 U.S. 843).
