Looks like after reading the reviews here. I was not the only one she promised to show up for & didnt. She gave me every excuse in the book & gave me the run around. Told me her assistant would have to cut the check. I constantly checked in with her to see if it was ready. But the check never came. ... So I thought maybe I can use these funds for a friend. She also told my friend that she couldn’t make it to several appearances & or just flat out didn’t call or show up. So glad she was disbarred. She stole from me when I was basically homeless. It took a lot to gather the money for her services. How dare you Sarah for stealing from people who needed it the most. Really stealing from low income single mothers? Shame on you!

I hired Sarah to represent me in a divorce...an unexpected and nasty divorce at that! Sarah was terrible about following through with calls, e-mails, and document submission. At that time, my ex rendered me homeless and broke as she used a TRO to have me removed from the home we jointly owned as well... as drained all three of our joint bank accounts. Sarah had no back-bone and let my ex' attorney bully us beyond belief. My ex knew what she was doing but Sarah was clueless. My ex filed multiple restraining orders against me to control the outcome of the divorce. Sarah repeatedly told me that I didn't need to appear in court because the TROs were nothing more than accusations. I took her advice and ended up with a 5 year TRO against me, constant harassing from the local sheriffs and thousands of dollars in legal fees. Had I not listened to Sarah, I would have defended myself to fight against the TROs and would not be in the position I'm in now! My life has been hell because of Sarah's misconduct so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stay far away

Oh my, where do I begin? My wife and I initially hired Sarah to represent my wife for a child support hearing. She charged us a flat fee to prepare and submit the paperwork and to represent us at the hearing. During the preparation stage, my wife noticed that it took awhile for Sarah to respond to em...ails or voicemails so she would have to follow up with her all the time. The day of the hearing, she arrived a few minutes late. When we finally got inside the courtroom; the secretary informed her that the court did not receive the paperwork she had submitted and when she furnished physical copies of the forms; apparently they were filed in the wrong order and that was the reason they were not in the court file. After that was said and done, we decided to give Sarah another chance and hired her to represent my wife in court for a custody hearing. She called my wife the DAY BEFORE the court hearing and told her she would not be able to represent her due to illness and that Sarah's dr had advised her to work from home for the next two weeks. Although this caused my wife a great deal of stress and the burden of representing herself in court; my wife was understanding and gave her the benefit of the doubt. However, when we called her office about 2 days later to inquire about receiving a refund for the flat fee we had paid her to represent us for the custody hearing....her office secretary informed us that she wasn't available as she was representing another client in court that day. It's been over a month, and though she has promised over and over to return the fee for the service she did not fulfill...she continues to give us the run around and excuse after excuse. Please, save yourself the heartache and trouble and do not hire Sarah to represent you! Do not make the same mistake our family did.
