Joann Campoy was my attorney during my divorce. This was a very scary time for me. I was becoming a single mom of 2, and a business owner trying to protect the only source of income I had, to provide for my family. My ex tried to come after my business, my kids and was very confrontational at every t...urn. Joann not only made me feel protected, but was my only source of hope and light in the whole divorce. Even though the divorce took 3 years total to complete, Joann always kept my fees as low as possible, knowing I was in a finical bind. She was not only a great attorney, but a understanding and sympathic person. She was solid in her defense and aggressive in her attack. She worked with confidence as well as facts and knowledge. There were no "What If's", there was only the law. While my ex-husbands attorney tried to squeeze every penny out of him with needless meetings or inquires, Joann just made our case, and stuck with it, with no unnecessary meetings or phone calls. She was my families advocate and my hero. She made a horrible situation, tolerable. Her confidence and knowledge, kept me grounded and sane. Without her, I shutter to think of what might have happened to me and my kids. I know there are different types of attorneys out there, some good, some not..... Joann is defiantly one of the great! I would highly recommend her to anyone going through a divorce or just needs some good family law advise. Her kind heart, bravery and knowledge sets her well above the rest! Joann represented me in my divorce proceedings for almost 5 years, and I could not have asked for better. I was fortunate to be referred to Joann Campoy for help when I needed it. The person referring me was well known retired Family Law Attorney who said that Joann was the best attorney I could ever choose for my case. I felt well taken care of from the first phone call I made to her office. Joan...n, her staff and assistants were all great as they took care of my case. I really didn't want to be involved in legal proceedings, but the situation I was in required help. I felt a sense of relief from the beginning as I was assured they would file responses and orders on time and help me overcome someone else's dishonest and unjust accusations about me. I was lucky to have called them as soon as I did as I almost missed a deadline that I didn't know about to file a response. Thanks to their fast action and the work Joann did in advance and in meeting with the opposing attorney at the court, the case was dismissed. I found every member of their team to be pleasant to work with, and even fun to be around. From Office Manager to Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, Paralegal and attorneys, everyone helped get the job done and make me feel well cared for in the process. I found it to be a real team effort that I had on my side. I would use Joann Campoy again if I ever have a need for help, and I hope not to need it again. Joann Campoy did an excellent job of explaining the legal issues in a way that was both comprehensive and understandable. She really listened to my concerns. She consulted me fully and informed me of what was going on in my case and what I could expect. She had a great courtroom presence - clearly... was fully prepared and a great advocate. Joann took my concerns seriously and was able to offer suggestions of resources available to help me personally as well as my legal issues. At no time through this process did I feel like I was on my own. There were many excitable and frustrating moments for me along the way to which Joann had a very calming influence. Joann was always prepared and one, possibly two steps ahead in the process. Everyone in the office was always accommid...ating and helpful at all times.
