I was fortunate to be referred to Joann Campoy for help when I needed it. The person referring me was well known retired Family Law Attorney who said that Joann was the best attorney I could ever choose for my case. I felt well taken care of from the first phone call I made to her office. Joan...n, her staff and assistants were all great as they took care of my case. I really didn't want to be involved in legal proceedings, but the situation I was in required help. I felt a sense of relief from the beginning as I was assured they would file responses and orders on time and help me overcome someone else's dishonest and unjust accusations about me. I was lucky to have called them as soon as I did as I almost missed a deadline that I didn't know about to file a response. Thanks to their fast action and the work Joann did in advance and in meeting with the opposing attorney at the court, the case was dismissed. I found every member of their team to be pleasant to work with, and even fun to be around. From Office Manager to Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, Paralegal and attorneys, everyone helped get the job done and make me feel well cared for in the process. I found it to be a real team effort that I had on my side. I would use Joann Campoy again if I ever have a need for help, and I hope not to need it again. But she and her staff were so helpful and personable that I may have to stop in to say hi again anyway. And I certainly recommend this attorney and her staff to anyone needing help with Family Law.

I have worked in the legal field for 16 plus years and last year I needed to hire my first attorney ever. Since working in the field and very closely to other law firms in this area I felt very confident with my first choice of attorneys. Although, my first attorney was good, we were not a match. ...I needed someone with a backbone that could put my ex in his place and wasn't afraid to call him out on his crap either. Joann was referred to me by another family law attorney in the area. When I met with Joann I immediately knew I needed to hire her. I quickly fired my first attorney and hired Joann. Within a few days, we went from having a hearing date months out to having an ex parte the week I hired her. Joann was able to draft declarations and responding papers for me with very little contact from me. I had given her my notes that I had kept over the course of my pregnancy and birth of my child. After reading the binders of notes, calendars, e-mails, texts, etc. Joann was up to speed on my matter and put together fabulous documents to file with the court. My case quickly got ugly and she went to bat for me. Our first court appearance was scary for me, as never being on this side of the table in a courtroom, but after watching Joann in court, she put me at ease. Joann was very on point with the topics, knew the facts and was able to object when needed. I was in awe watching her work her magic. Other attorneys on the break were coming up to her and congratulating her on argument. Joann kept me very informed of the status of my case. The women in the office were all very helpful and knowledgeable with my case as well. From the moment I first walked in until now, I totally feel like everyone in the office knows you and makes you feel welcome. Overall, my experience with Joann was fabulous. Yes, she is an attorney, and attorneys can be intimidating for some, but Joann is very straight forward and tells you how it is. Even if she doesn’t agree with you, she will tell you how it is. This is one of the things I really liked about her. I would highly recommend Joann to others in need of a good family law attorney.

Mr. Campoy, Joann's husband and partner was very very unethical. Joann herself asked me for a large retainer, I mean LARGE. When I changed attorneys after realizing that the Campoys were very unethical they refused to give me back my retainer. They stoped returning my phone calls and Joann hid in her... office telling her secretary to send me away when I went to her office in person. DO NOT hire these people!
