What I liked about chris right away was that he used to work as a dectective on domestic violence cases for Sonoma county sheriffs department. He's seen many divorces and custody battles as an attorney and as a deputy. Most people at family court know chris and have a good relationship with him from ...years of working with him. I like how he can look back on other cases to relate to my situation, and also educate me on why certain decisions should be made in court for my best interest. Since hiring Chris I went from having no custody to full custody and he kept me informed and comfortable as possible through this stressful process.

I have been working with Chris over a family law dispute for a year now. And as with any serious matter regarding one your children would be, this was a very troubling time for me. I went into that office terrified of the worst, and completely exposed as this particular case involved abuse and embarr...assing situations. Not once did Chris bs me about false outcomes to try and sell me. He was completely open with me about what I could expect, and what I could with what I was given. I think a lot of women in my position would be uncomfortable to talk about abuse (from a man) TO a man, but he was very easy to talk to and only made me feel stronger. The other party was notoriously evasive and argumentative, so Chris ended up staying after hours and offer alternative options so that the other party could not possibly avoid the situation (me) any longer. I often joke that he is written off on my checkbook as "therapist". But really, I am very thankful for having found him.
