Sarah A. Ornelas

Sarah A. Ornelas is a Partner in the Modesto office of Borton Petrini, LLP.  She graduated summa cum laude from California State University, Stanislaus in Turlock, California. She graduated in three years with a BS in Business Management with a concentration in International Business, and received the title of Management Student of the Year.  Sarah attended law school at Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts and graduated cum laude in May 2007.
 

Sarah is licensed to practice law in California, Massachusetts Connecticut, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.

Prior to joining Borton Petrini, LLP, Sarah practiced in a wide variety of practice areas in the Massachusetts and Connecticut State and Federal Courts.  When Sarah, a Modesto native, and her family decided to return to the Central Valley, she joined Borton Petrini, LLP as a senior litigation associate.

Sarah has experience in a wide range of practice areas, including: civil litigation, wrongful termination, employment discrimination, housing discrimination, education litigation, insurance defense, construction litigation, collection litigation, estate administration, personal injury litigation, special education advocacy and landlord/tenant liability cases.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys volunteering in her community, escaping to the beach, and spending time with her husband and two children.
