Chad Bion Yates

Chad Bion Yates is President and Principal Attorney at Beck & Yates, A Professional Law Corporation, with offices loceted in Modesto and Ripon, California.  Chad's areas of practice include the following:

• Estate Planning - preparation of revocable living trusts, wills, durable powers of attorney, advance health care directives, irrevocable trusts, special needs trusts, and life insurance trusts; probate and trust administration; and estate litigation.

• Business - forming and counseling corporations, LLCs, and LPs, commerical transactions, buy-sell agreements, business succession planning, and agricultural, commercial and residential real estate transactions.

• Litigation - civil, commercial, estate, landlord-tenant, and real property disputes.

Chad received his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco.  Chad is a graduate of Modesto Junior College and the University of California, Davis, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in history.  Chad also attended graduate school at The George Washington University, in Washington, D.C., studying history and public policy. 

Chad is a member of the Stanislaus and San Joaquin County Bar Associations and the Stanislaus County Estate Planning Council.  Chad is a graduate of the Modesto Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Modesto (2010) and Commonwealth Modesto.  Chad was a founding director of the local nonprofit Alzheimer/Dementia Support Center, Inc., which provides education and support to those living with Alzheimer's disease/dementia and their caregivers.  Chad enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, golf, and spending time with his wife and young son.
