Biography
Jeffrey A. Tenenbaum was raised in the city of Merced. His family has practiced law in Merced County for over 40 years. Throughout Mr. Tenenbaum's higher education, his focus of study was criminal law and oral advocacy. In 2001, he moved back to the city of Merced and established a private practice, specializing in the areas of Criminal Law, Juvenile Law, and Dependency Law (Child Protective Services). He has handled thousands of cases and has tried many of the most serious criminal cases in Merced County at jury trial. He is member of various professional organizations and remains on the cutting edge of legal issues by attending state and national seminars each year. He is married, has four children, and resides in the city of Merced.

Replied last November 06, 2012I am sorry you feel that way. We did everything we could to please you over a long period of time. As for the contract my office has with Merced County, it is no secret that the Court appoints me to represent some defendants who cannot afford a lawyer in felony matters. I am not able to pick these cases and defendants cannot choose me. Those people are then ordered by the Court to reimburse the County for legal fees depending on income levels.
