I have gone through three attorneys and my child is three. One attorney who was literally a joke and I fired him after the first court date as he stood there like a statue and could care less for my child or my case the second attorney who was just there for his money he would do the paperwork but wo...uld show up late or postponed court dates to charge me extra as now he had more court dates on his books. The third attorney I hired was Lisa Thiessen. I’ve been to court with Lisa twice and every time she has been prepared and ready to prep me a week before and the morning of court. When I met Lisa Thiessen the first time I felt a personal connection as if she is one attorney who cared about me and my child. I have one of the most challenging child custody cases that anyone has heard of. As a single parent if there is one piece of advice I can give to anyone battling a child custody case it would be to hire Lisa. She has been my attorney for the past year and I could have not made a better choice. I am finally pleased with my choice as I know I have a powerful person who not only is knowledgeable but also very understanding. Her paralegal Alyssa is also pretty amazing, they are definitely a great team as a matter of fact everyone at Diane Drew Butler & Associates is very professional and kind.
