I hired Dianne Butler back in 2007. My divorce was quite complicated and time consuming. It took over a year to settle everything due to my ex-wife fighting as much as possible. At the end, my divorce and settlement with my ex tuned out very well in my favor. I did learn by going to court many times ...that there are many attorneys out there that do not fight for you as they should. What I have noticed by watching other attorneys in court is that they take the short cut and want to end the case. Dianne on the other hand, fought for everything that I deserved and never settled. Entered my venture, if you will, with Lindsay GM, Associate Attorney with DDB. Didn't know how it would turn out because family can be get crazy. I provided all necessary documents after retaining representation. Once the ball rolled- Associate Lindsay was my attorney. Lindsay is calm, cool, colle...cted and didn't mind me voicing my opinion about documentation or our plan of action. Yes, I was the client and I paid, however I felt she was truly on my side. In fact, on my court date, another (female) associate entered the court Client/Attorney room (looking for Lindsay) while I was extremely upset; saw my raw emotion and said, "I'm on your side." Although she didn't represent me, her words reflected Lindsay's approach toward my case. Lindsay had to calm me down because I thought she was too nice. However, when it was game time, she was on point and made me say wow from the table. I understand everyone's situation is different and results are not the same.
