Kathy Lynn Trosclair

I first seen her at the courthouse when I was filing my proof of service. I thought I'd go out on a limb and see if, by chance, she was a family law attorney. I couldn't ask for a better person to represent me. I felt a huge load taken off my shoulders knowing I'd found someone who genuinely cares, ...and who is experienced.

I had a very complicated case in which I thought I had no choice but to roll over and take whatever ruling was given. I was in a same sex relationship where a child was born, the biological mother was trying to take our son. I was at the point of just representing myself, every attorney I spoke with... did not seem as though I had a chance. I met Kathy Lynn and immediately felt comfortable with her. In court she was amazing. Kathy Lynn is what I call power house, she went in guns ablazing and made sure every angle was taken care of. I walked out of there knowing we put our best foot forward. Last year I was looking for an attorney that was going to help me be able to get more time with my children; due to my deep concerns for them despite my ex husband's lies and manipulation tactics to keep me away from them. When I first met with Kathy she made me feel comfortable talking about my pain...ful past, my current struggles with getting help for my children. Since then she's been on my team fighting with everything she has to help me get my kids back. My ex husband is a liar and he is manipulating my children into telling lies about me abusing them( while he's the abuser);which leads to CPS and police constantly at my front door accusing me and ready to arrest me for things I have not done. I have had countless stay away orders, and emergency protective orders to keep me away from children that I'm trying to protect from their father. All this drama has caused sabotage to the loving and nututring relationship I have with my children, but thankfully I have Kathy Lynn Trosclair in my corner because with her everytime I've gone to court I've gotten more then I asked for and she helped expose my ex husbands lies. Kathy listens and she truly cares for you and what's best for you and your family. She will fight like hell to get what you deserve. She's a huge asset to my team. I am truly grateful and thankful that God sent me to her because she has just been working for me and my children since the first day that we met. (She's not going to let my ex husband's lies and manipulation destroy my family). She failed to follow through on any of the actions she was too perform in my relocation / custody case. According to her after CPS stated that the claims against me had been false and a malicious attempt by sons fathers family , plus a failed drug test by father , the execution of a expired emergen...cy order which the father and his father and girlfriend came to my house and forcibly took my year old son from me and never contact the sheriff's office which on the orders stated was to execute the emergency order which was only gained again through false statements on my fleeing the state , when he knew I was not . because of this and my hiring this attorney I was unable to see my son who had never spent but a night at his grandmas his entire year old precious life away from me for almost a month , when I hired her she was suppose to get an emergency hearing and have my son returned to me I filed a police report and signed documents from her to have all this done , I got my son back only because 2 weeks later the mediator in our case was appalled and gave my son back to me especially after reading the case decision on malicious attempt and accusations they had done to me , so a drug test was ordered he failed but she never put in orders to have visitation withheld, so she then tells me to without visitation due to failed drug test basically putting me in contempt , which almost had me arrested and jailed . Then never filing any papers for retesting to have 2 failed test for trial. Bottom line we had a mediation / court appearance on March 27 , 2015 which she told me was 2pm. On the 27th I get a call stating I was 4 hours late for this appearance before the judge which was actually at 8am .When I arrive 40 minutes later I nearly lost custody of my son for FTA. I also discover she has never responded or filed a single document in my case / or my behalf at all. in the course of 3 months yet had me meet her several times at court to sign supposedly documents to file . Then my sons fathers lawyers states to judge she had tried for 3 weeks to get a date to settle this with my attorney with no luck and only a message after hours on her machine from my attorney that she would look at her datebook and get back to her as of the court date on 27th it had been 6 weeks and still nothing . She failed to do anything except make a lot of unfilled promises and the fact that the mediator told me that this is not the first time this has happen that the judge himself reprimanded her in court on her poor display and lack of qualified experience in this matter . Luckily I did not lose my son but was forced to stay in CA for now . But I agreed to pay 1,000 to Kathy for my case , my mother paid her 850.00 for nothing and she has the nerve to call me and demand my mother or I pay the rest . I am helping to get my mother a case against her to hopefully get back money she did not earn a penny for (KATHY) and the nerve to demand the rest was just so unbelievable which was the reason I hope to get justice in this matter in my legal fees returned to me / my mother . DO NOT HIRE HER PLEASE TRUST ME! I ALSO AM NOT LYING OR TRYING TO BE SPITEFUL EVERYTHING IS TRUE I am hoping to have no one else put in the position I was in,... which just about cost me custody of my son

You could never ask for a more amazing knowledgeable attorney than Ms.Kathy Lynn, she not only keeps you in the loop and responds immediately to any questions or concerns,she is organized and prepared and she goes above and beyond to help with other aspects.
