My attorney agreed with my ex-husband and his Attorneys to use Judge Roggia as our private Attorney-huge mistake. I should have went through the normal court system of Santa Clara county from the beginning and which I did forward the end of the divorce. I felt Judge Roggia was biased (toward my ex) t...hrough the entire process of our divorce and the Santa Clara Court system was more knowledgeable and fair!

Mr. Roggia is the best family law attorney in Santa Clara County. As his client, I can very highly recommend Mr. Roggia. He is extremely knowledgable and has an excellent grasp of the legal issues. Mr. Roggia represented me in a full day custody trial, and I could not be happier with his work and wit...h the outcome. When looking for an attorney, I went down to the courthouse and asked different attorneys for the names of who they considered to be the "best family law attorney in Santa Clara County". When all of the first three people I asked mentioned Rich Roggia, I knew I had found a great attorney. Also, one of my ex's attorneys once made reference to "an attorney of the caliber of Mr. Roggia" in explaining why the outcome was so favorable to me. Could not recommend anyone more highly.

Main issue at the trial was medical bills. During the trial, Mr. Roggia 1) Did not attack any of complaintant's "evidence". The other side presented lots of medical bills, but only three were germane. Mr. Roggia did not even inform the judge that dozens of medical bills were A) not only paid by all p...arties and not at issues B) were originally paid by me! 2) Did not correct complaintant's lawyer's gross misstatements of fact (that lawyer was off by a factor of 4 when he said that Dr X charges 50.00 when, in fact, the charge was $200) Basically, he threw out an airtight case. To add insult to injury, the judge even made me pay complaintant's attorney's fees. I definitely do not recommend this lawyer.
