Nkechika Nwamaka Nkenke

Nkechi N. Nkenke graduated from San Jose State University with a dual degree in Behavioral Science and Sociology. During her time at SJSU, Ms. Nkenke made it a point to assimilate herself with a variety of extracurricular activities and organizations, one of which included being the Activities Coordinator and the Vice President of the Nigerian Student Association located on campus.

Ms. Nkenke continued her Spartan allegiance at Michigan State University College of Law. While in law school, she completed a certification program in Child and Family Advocacy. Ms. Nkenke was also given the opportunity to travel to London and attend a seminar called Lawyering in the 21st Century at the University of Westminster. During her law school career, Ms. Nkenke also interned for the Honorable Judge Bensonetta Tipton Lane at the Fulton County Superior Court – Family Law Division, Attorneys for Indigent Mothers (AIM), and worked as a Clinician for the Chance at Childhood Clinic. Nkechi gave back while at MSU Law when she served as a Mentor to incoming 1st year students as a member of the Black Law Students Association and worked on the Board of the Student Bar Association.

Ms. Nkenke joined Hoover Krepelka in September 2018 and brings an immense amount of passion for family law. With her empathetic and personable approach, Ms. Nkenke is able to navigate often contentious cases in a direction that clients feel guided and protected. Ms. Nkenke manages the sensitive issues in family law with the mindset of obtaining the best result possible for her clients while also encouraging case movement and eventual resolution.
