Nicole M. Ford and I met while she was working as an attorney with Bay Area Legal aid 2014, serving the Greater SF/SJ Silicon Valley community. Nicole was able to achieve a win in my case, because shes invested into her career as a professional lawyer, and by serving well the interests of her client...s. Because of Nicoles' core competencies in filing an effective legal motion; that resulted in unsnarling a 3 year long legal nightmare. Nicole picked up the case, hit the ground running and resolved it favorably in just 7 weeks. Unfortunately, I had the occasion to need an attorney again in 2016. Nicole worked hard to try and resolve the matter but wasn't able to negotiate a settlement because of the other sides--lawyer. Nicki Ford came supremely recommended by another attorney because of her expertise within domestic violence law. Nicki returned my initial call while on a personal vacation celebrating the launch of her own practice, following years at Bay Area Legal Aid. After only a half hour phone call, I was em...powered with information and an actual course of immediate action. If this wasn’t enough, Nicki insisted that I contact her at any point until her arrival back on the same coast the following week. I still marvel at the time and energy wasted while contacting 5 other family law practices (many more than double her rate), who did not know the basics of DV law and how to deal with the emergency circumstances that surrounded me. Nicki has been amazing about giving me only what I need to know; filtering yet completely transparent. Any questions I have are met with straight, complete, and easily understood answers. She is always available and responsive when I need her to be. Always. Nicki is appropriately aggressive but with grace, which is something I personally need to coexist. Custody orders were issued alongside leave of state orders...and this all took place while undergoing major dental and facial reconstructive surgery.
