I cannot recommend Missy Cornejo highly enough. I was in an incredibly stressful situation trying to access the equity in a home I co-owned with my ex-husband. Although I had lived in the home the entire time it was not disclosed to me that a lien had been placed on the property do to his lack of pay...ing the Franchise Tax Board taxes and there is also a clouded title. I hired this firm in 1-2021 to sue my neighbor for damage to my property from his tree roots. We asked for (1) removal of the 3 offending trees and (2) substantial monetary damages. In 5-2021, Missy took over the case, her opponent being the attorney for the neighbor's homeowner insurer, Liberty M...utual. In 12-2022, this settled. The 3 trees were removed, and the insurer paid the max it was allowed to pay in its liability policy, which was several hundred thousand dollars. This was about the best we might have hoped for !
