I met with a few different attorneys about the possibility of filing bankruptcy before I landed with Fuller Law and Joyce Lau. Other attorneys told me that chapter 13 was probably not an option for me but did not seem to have the time to spend walking me thru the issues in detail. I initially went to... Fuller Law because I had been led to believe that I needed to file chapter 11 which is much more complex and expensive than chapter 13. I spent hours meeting with both Lars Fuller and Joyce Lau and they navigated a path for me to go with chapter 13 (big relief). From that point on Joyce was my primary point of contact with the firm and I met with her many times as we worked thru the process of preparing to file. She never rushed me in any way. She always made me feel like she was totally focused on my case and that we could work thru anything that might come up. She is very knowledgeable and understands the nuances of working with the trustee & judges in this area. She answered every question I raised and if she needed to seek out additional consultation on some exceptional questions she did so and consistently came back to me with solid advice. She is also very responsive. I have been working with her for over a year now and I know that I can send an email anytime with a question and she will get back to me right away. The trustee raised objections and it took a long time for my plan to be formally approved but Joyce helped me understand what was going on and to trust that it would all work out. It did and my plan is now approved and I can now look forward to coming out on the other end of this very difficult time. I could not be happier with the results Joyce has provided and would absolutely recommend her and the Fuller firm to anyone facing the painful decision to consider personal bankruptcy.
