Julia Bressman

I am extremely dissatisfied with Bressman Law to the point i feel I was taken advantage of. I retained them for 8 months and by the time I fired them they invoiced around 6k. AFTER I fired them (for poor performance and suspected bill padding) they magically produced new invoices totalling 35k wh...ich are highly inflated in my opinion. Per contract they were supposed to invoice monthly but they have delayed invoices and I could not detect overcharges and fire them promptly. Quality of services provided was horrible in my opinion. After 40k+ in invoices they no child support was ordered, no dvro evidentiary trial happened and we haven't even exchanged satisfactory financial disclosures. Julia rescheduled trial day 1 at last moment and didn't show up for trial day 2 at all. Andrew who had no trial experience was driving a car and seemed completely unprepared to represent me, but he joined the call and I've lost 50% of custody that day. Yet, after this disaster, they charged me 17k for that month!!! When I confronted Andrew with poor results while charging too much Andrew replied "Results are irrelevant per engagement agreement".

Julia extremely dedicated. She has looked at me as an individual and treated my case as unique. Julia listens to me and does research. She has used her skill, knowledge, and incredible work ethic to keep my son safe and to move my extremely complicated on going case forward. Julia is clear and inform...ative about possible outcomes and does not promise things that will not happen, but again she is so smart and hardworking she has been able to move my case much further than I hoped possible. Any parent dealing with domestic violence issues or child safety concerns is lucky to have Julia's representation.
