I have worked with Jennifer off and on for over 12 years. She represented me when I had to go to court on 6 separate motions regarding issues with my ex-husband, plus 4 additional motions with him that she was able to negotiate so that we didn't have to end up at court. Her greatest strength is her... ability to craft written contracts and agreements that protect your interests and your family. Her agreements withstood the test of time as my ex-husband repeatedly tried to break them or go around them, but she had written them so that they stood up solidly in court. Jennifer is calm and logical; she works with the facts of the case and strips away the drama. Provide her with facts and, if possible, the documentation to back up what you say, and she will be a powerful advocate for you. Jennifer has immense integrity, which is hard to find in an area of law where there can be a lot of mud slinging. It was great to work with someone who used her deep knowledge of the law, strong attention to detail, and powerful skill with words to win cases. One area where Jennifer is less familiar is if your case has complex financial issues. You will want to pull in a CPA or someone else to partner on that. However, I've found that most lawyers are not as strong in the math arena, so you would likely need to do this regardless of who you hire. Overall, I was fortunate to work with someone extremely smart, honest, pragmatic, and focused on getting me the best outcome. If needed, would I hire her again? Well, considering that in a way I've hired her 10 times already and gotten very optimal results, it's pretty obvious that I would definitely hire her again.

Jennifer helped me navigate an extremely complicated divorce agreement. She was able to renegotiate the financial/support terms without us having to go to court. I came to Jennifer and her team with the unique challenge of obtaining a grandparent visitation order that would preserve the deep and meaningful bond I have with my young granddaughters. Cancer had taken my daughter's life at a young age, and my efforts to maintain reasonable visitation with her yo...ung children (my granddaughters) were being unreasonably/unlawfully blocked by the children's father and new stepmother. Jennifer quickly sprang into action and obtained court-ordered interim visitation. Within a year, Jennifer obtained a Stipulation and Order for permanent visitation that even exceeded my initial hopes.
