My case involves minor white collar crime. During my legal case in 2012 to 2013 there was total of 3 times Jacklyn DID NOT even show up for my court dates. NO GOOD. Judge kept on rescheduling court hearing because of her no show. I paid her a total of $7000.00 I could have used that money pay c...ourt fines and fees instead of paying Jacklyn Bentley. I would have been better off going to Public Defender help my case. ITS FREE... I was going to report what happen to Bar Association in Sacramento. But my wife convinced me not to report this incident. I DO NOT RECOMMEND JACKYLN BENTLEY.

I have used services of Jacklyn Ann Bentley for a traffic ticket case. I initially spoke to her secretary regarding my ticket and she recommended to have a consultation meeting with Jacklyn. I was able to secure a meeting with Jacklyn on the same day. I explained my situation and she quoted me a lump... sum for her services. She was also very confident that I could win the case and suggested 'technical faults' that could go in my favor. I thanked her for the input and said I will reach out if interested. The next day the secretary 'promptly' provided me the contract. I then signed the contract with the notion that Jacklyn was confident in my case, which gave me assurance of winning the case. Weeks have gone by without any communication. My court date was scheduled by the county. I have not heard anything from Jacklyn since I signed the contract. The next communication I ever heard/received was from the court house and stated that I was found guilty since no sufficient evidence was presented. I reached back out to Jacklyn to try to get some more details by phone but couldn't get through. I emailed her and still no response. She emails me back after 2 weeks and tells me that the judge and the officer was adamant that I offended the law. The 'technical faults' was never bought up in court and Jacklyn never pursued it - even though in our initial consultation she said she will bring it up. Although the outcome of the case was not in my favor, I was really disappointed in Jacklyn's professionalism and responsiveness. She promised a lot and did not deliver. In conclusion, she was very prompt in getting her fees and following up signing the contract; however seldom will reach out to you or follow up if you have any questions or after the case is complete. I would avoid the services of Jacklyn like the plague.

I hired Ms Bentley in December 2015 and I'm so glad I did! She was an awesome attorney! I was looking for an attorney who knew her legal stuff as well as an attorney who was compassionate and sensitive. Ms Bentley has both qualities. I was being wrongfully accused of something legally I did not do. ...In May 2017 I was cleared of everything and the case was dropped. Ms Bentley is a kind and sensitive attorney. She is as down to earth as it gets. She knows her stuff! She is upfront and honest and does not sugar coat anything. She returned all my calls and I was not charged a consultation fee. Her rates are good and her office was beautiful. I would recommend her to my friends and family should they ever need legal representation in the future. I hired Jacklyn several months ago to handle my traffic ticket – my first ever. She was prompt in all communication and sent regular updates by snail mail about the status of my case, court dates, etc. (Thankfully, since it was a traffic ticket, she was able to appear on my behalf, which was a huge b...enefit.) I just received a call from her last week that my traffic charge was reduced to a 0 point offense, which I'm pleased with. She followed up with a letter by mail with instructions for paying the court costs and fees to close the case. Overall, I would highly recommend Jacklyn for handling traffic offenses.
