Jaclyn Meilander Ford

Jaclyn Ford's practice focuses on all aspects of business litigation and employment law.  Her litigation background includes handling disputes related to commercial contracts, employment, real estate, shareholder rights, business torts, and trade secrets. Jaclyn is experienced in all aspects of the litigation process, from pre-lawsuit negotiations, discovery, law and motion practice, mediation, settlement, trial preparation, to appellate practice.  Jaclyn has also successfully advised a variety of different types of employers on compliance with state and federal labor and employment laws.  She has additionally drafted and reviewed various employment documents such as employee contracts and workplace policies and procedures.

Jaclyn was selected for inclusion in the 2017 Northern California Rising Stars.  This marks the second consecutive year she was so selected.  Only 2.5 percent of lawyers in Northern California are selected each year.

Prior to joining Structure Law Group in 2014, Jaclyn was a litigation attorney at a well-established firm in Oakland, where she represented clients ranging from individuals to large corporations.  Her practice there primarily focused on the defense of California Community Care Facilities.

While a law student at Santa Clara University, Jaclyn volunteered as a Certified Law Clerk at the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office and at the Katherine and George Alexander Community Law Center’s Workers’ Rights clinic.
