Excellent Communicator

We were referred to Elijah Keyes for a settlement issue as we are out of state. From the beginning, Elijah explained everything so clearly and patiently. He listened to exactly what our concerns and thoughts were while articulately communicating the agreed upon plan of action. Given our location, we did everything over the phone and the end result was beyond any of our expectations. We would highly recommend Elijah and look forward to working with him again.

Trust planning

Elijah was very helpful with editing our family trust after my wife passed away. He answered all my question in a timely manner and if he did not know the answer he found out quickly. He would take time out of day to reassure me that he had everything under control. He took his time to explain why he worded the trust the way he did and that I understood what it meant. Will use him again when the trust needs to updated.

My elderly mother and I recently had the opportunity to consult with Mr. Keyes regarding her estate planning and Living Trust. As has been our experience on prior visits with Mr. Keyes, his warm and friendly demeanor quickly set my mother's mind at ease. Mr. Keyes demonstrates great empathy and care in his work. He explains things clearly and articulately, and addressed our each and every concern, as well as educated us on a number of issues that hadn't even occurred to us. Elijah Keyes is an outstanding attorney.

We did not know Elijah Keyes though had done business with Gilfix and La Poll previously. It was a pleasure working with Elijah to get our Trust and estate planning completed. He listened carefully to our wants and needs and it was very evident that his goal was to give us the best results. He is extremely knowledgeable about the law and always explained matters clearly. He was always available and responded immediately to our questions and concerns and quickly resolved any issues. A master of his trade

Attorney Keyes has a clear passion for estate law, and somehow managed to discuss our estate options in great detail without being either obtuse or boring. (If you don't think that's pretty impressive, you haven't spoken with very many estate lawyers.)

Great explainer, great outcomes

Eli has advised me on a number of property issues. Though property isn't his current specialty, his detailed explanation of the pros and cons of different approaches, his deep knowledge of property case and bankruptcy law, and his help in preparing cases allowed me (in a first case) to negotiate authoritatively with a property manager, get a family member who needed help out of an expensive contract, (second case) reduce the costs of an expensive general contractor lawsuit, (third case) avoid capital loss in a bankruptcy case where I was a creditor. I go to Eli as my "first responder" whenever I need legal advice. If he doesn't know an area, he knows people who do. Many times he has said, "This isn't my specialty, but here's what I know," and his advice was thoughtful and effective. Even when I went to a recommended specialist, his first explanation helped me keep costs down with the specialist.

Trustworthy Communicator

I have had some experience with lawyers and many times it hasn't been a pleasant experience. However, when Elijah worked for me I was so impressed!!! He was attentive and really listened to me. He efficiently communicated with me and kept me informed every step of the way. I could tell that Elijah really cared about my success. He took extra care to go above and beyond looking for ways to help me. I am recommending him to everyone I know. Just call him and you'll understand what I mean!
