Mandy Zhang Feuerbacher

Mandy Zhang Feuerbacher has over seven years of experience working as a visa official and diplomat for the United States Government in mainland China, Mexico, and Hong Kong.  During her time as a U.S. Vice Consul, Mandy has interviewed tens of thousands of visa applicants and approved and denied visas to immigrants, business executives, students, and tourists all wishing to travel to or live in the United States.  She realized that often, visa applicants and even their immigration lawyers do not understand the inner workings of the U.S. Government, usually to the detriment of the applicant. She has firsthand knowledge of what goes into a successful visa application.  Mandy founded Zhang Feuerbacher Immigration to be a full-service immigration law and consulting firm to ensure that each client has the insider’s knowledge and the best chance for success in attaining their goals in the United States.

Mandy has managed and trained teams of visa officials on different parts of the immigration process and interview techniques.  She has given numerous presentations on student visas at universities overseas, and has collaborated with US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on investigating visa fraud.  She has resolved numerous complex immigration and citizenship issues.

Mandy was born in Shanghai, China, and immigrated to the United States with her parents when she was seven years old.  She is fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Spanish.  Prior to working for the U.S. Government, Mandy practiced civil and business litigation for three years in Los Angeles, California.  She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, San Diego, with a degree in Communication and a minor in Law.  She obtained her juris doctor degree at the Pepperdine University School of Law and was admitted to the California State Bar in December 2008.

As an immigrant who later became a U.S. diplomat, Mandy is a big believer in the American Dream and is passionate about the rights of immigrants.
