Melissa Ann Hoffman

Melissa Hoffman obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Iowa State University with a major in Political Science and minors in Criminal Justice and Psychology. She is a National Dean’s List graduate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, and has worked in the legal field for over sixteen years.  Prior to becoming an attorney, Melissa Hoffman worked for ten years as a paralegal in California in various practice areas, including personal injury, mechanics liens, contract disputes, construction law, corporate disputes, wrongful death actions, trademark infringement, copyright infringement and business formation.

Ms. Hoffman is well versed in all aspects of Workers’ Compensation and civil litigation, including law & motion, written discovery, depositions, expert witness preparation, presentation of evidence, and trial preparation.  She has taken and/or defended approximately 150 depositions and has successfully settled numerous cases.

Ms. Hoffman is admitted to practice before the State Bar of California, the United States District Court, Southern District of California and the United States District Court, Central District of California.
