As a mediator, I focus on making the parties feel heard and understood. Our goal is to reach a mutually satisfactory resolution of the issues with a minimum of discord. I am particularly skilled at diffusing highly emotional issues, and try hard to make the process as painless, enjoyable and satisfying as possible. Being fully prepared on all of the factual and legal issues, and working hard for the parties before, during and after the session has ended are of utmost importance. I also bring an optimistic and positive attitude, excellent listening skills, attentiveness, curiosity, kindness and empathy to all mediations. I avoid imposing my own views, maintain neutrality, and allow the process to guide the parties to a resolution on their own terms.
