I recently joined The Buchta Law Offices after graduation from theUniversity of San Francisco, School of Law. During my time there, Iacquired valuable experience clerking for over two years at theplaintiff personal injury firm of Hinton, Alfert & Sumner in WalnutCreek.
While at USF, I participated in the USF Criminal Law Clinic whereI represented indigent clients in criminal matters and successfullyachieved favorable outcomes for my clients. In addition to the Clinic,I competed in the USF Advanced Moot Court: Advocate of the YearCompetition. I was also a staff member and survey author for the USFIntellectual Property Law Bulletin.
Like my boss Mr. Buchta, I possess an engineering degree, havinggraduated with High Honors in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara. Additionally, I served as theVice President for the engineering honor society Tau Beta Pi.
I particularly enjoy working directly with my clients andhelping them achieve the best possible results. I also like thelitigation process and being in the courtroom.
My competitive edge comes in part from sports; I excelled atfootball and rugby in high school as well as rugby in , my hard work and determination enabled me to becomean Eagle Scout and Senior Patrol Leader (the highest position) in my troop.
In my spare time I enjoy mountain biking, skiing, running, politics, and some TV.
