Outstanding Legal Representation

Bob is an exceptional attorney—professional, intelligent, and thorough. He simplified legal complexities during my employment dispute, providing comfort and confidence. His calm demeanor, combined with genuine kindness, made him not just a skilled lawyer but a true support. Highly, highly recommended.... I was very pleased with the outcome. He was crystal clear throughout the entirety of the process. You will not regret it. Truly, a phenomenal person and attorney.

Highly Recommend

We hired Bob Salinas based on a referral and we would wholeheartedly and confidently refer him to anyone seeking his specific skills as an attorney. When we first met with Bob he quickly understood the details of our case and the emotional toll it had taken on us. Throughout the process, he set c...lear expectations and articulated our complaint's legal ramifications, nuances, and challenges. Guiding us with integrity, confidence, finesse, and sensitivity Bob consistently showed respect for our time and patience with our process of collecting and disseminating information. With a natural poise that reflects his years of experience, he maintains a professional demeanor while cultivating a warm and supportive personal style. The masterful manner in which he represented our case and sustained command of the argument against the defendant to its resolution exceeded our expectations.

Excellent Council

We are all aware that Law is tricky and finding council is a dubious task. We were referred to Salinas by Centro Legal de la Raza. He was sharp, responsive and straight forward. He knew the strengths and weaknesses of our argument. He secured us a fair result and had candor as well as repour with ev...ery one we dealt with through the process. He was on board with any direction we wanted to go but gave stable council to a reasonable outcome. Lawyers work for money. Salinas works for real people. I have nothing but respect for him.

excellent lawyer!

Bob was a very personable and knowledgeable lawyer who helped me win my case. His was always very thorough, honest and realistic about what to expect and took me step by step along the way. He really believes in justice for tenants and people who have been treated wrongfully by faulty landlords. He w...as recommended to me by Causa Justa and I'm so glad I hired him, as he helped my case to its fullest potential. Thanks for everything Bob!

Nothing is too "complex" for Robert Salinas!

My partner and I ( who is permanently disabled) were referred to Sundeen & Salinas by a friend after searching unsuccessfully for tenant/landlord legal representation. We also needed a lawyer who was knowledgeable about disability, gender and sexual orientation related issues. We lived by the lake ...in Oakland for 6+ years, and were wrongfully evicted by a new owner. Our unit was in desperate need of mold remediation, and despite numerous attempts to communicate with the landlord no resolution could be reached. In fact, the situation worsened over weeks and months as we were harassed in many ways: our possessions were disposed of without our knowledge; our parking was taken away; our unit was not fixed and worse of all our privacy was invaded (plus other things as well). We contacted the city and various agencies for assistance but were told our situation was too complex ( " You should get a lawyer..") due to disability rights/issues. Before finding Bob and his associates, we felt disempowered, unsafe and extremely worried that we would be thrown out on the street like our possessions. No one/family should experience this, let alone while dealing with a life threatening illness. My partner lives with a chronic illness but at the time was on dialysis and waiting for a kidney transplant. Bob was a breath of fresh air. To him, our case was not too complex, it was a challenge he would help us surpass. His breadth of legal knowledge about the intersections of housing, disability, gender, sexual orientation and economic status is extensive. We always felt we were a team with Bob. That our contributions were vital. We were listened to, respected, and our relationship was based on mutual trust and the common goal of seeking justice. Although legally astute, he was always genuine, caring and empathetic ( and even humorous was it was needed most). On numerous occasions when tears were shed he was understanding and encouraging. Our case was finally settled nearly two years after it began and we are very satisfied with the results. He worked tirelessly until a resolution was reached, that we were satisfied with, and he was transparent and professional every step of the way. Seeking legal council and Bob as as lawyer was the best decision we made ! We recommend Bob wholeheartedly to anyone with tenant/ landlord issues, especially those deemed "complex". I couldn't have asked for a better lawyer or more caring person to help us through this difficult time.
