About Marjorie
Biography
For over 20 years, I built a successful law practice defending insurance companies and their clients in serious personal injury cases. Then, I had a profound realization. In 2008, I sat as a juror on a murder trial in Oakland, California. It gave me a new perspective on our justice system. When it was over, I knew I needed to make a change. Rather than defend big insurance, I knew I had to fight for people who have been seriously injured and need my help.
I don’t regret the time I spent “working behind enemy lines.” Because I have been on the other side, I know how to beat my opponents at their own game. Now, I use this insight to help my clients win.
I am a former college athlete, having swam and played water polo for the Golden Bears at UC Berkeley. My swimming career has given me invaluable strength and bravery when battling huge corporations with limitless resources.
I am a Super Lawyer, San Francisco Trial Attorney of the Year recipient, former President of the Alameda Contra Costa Trial Lawyers’ Association, Adjunct Faculty Member, and Warrior who knows how to win for my deserving clients.
I have recovered multiple millions of dollars on behalf of my clients in cases involving wrongful death, motor vehicle, motorcycle, and trucking accidents, dog bite and dog knock down related incidents, traumatic brain injuries, pedestrian related incidents, construction site accidents, slip / trip and falls, cases against public entities, and many other complex actions.
