Ian graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California, where he was a member of the Thomas Jefferson Law Review and served a term as its Lead Notes Editor. During law school, Ian volunteered his legal services as a certified law student to homeless military veterans through the Veterans Legal Assistance Clinic. Ian graduated with a B.A. in creative writing from the University of Arizona. Ian is originally from New York and has lived in California since 2008.
