At first I was using Mr. Shenkin to consult me on a rental agreement that the landlord had taken me to court for back rent and damages to apt.. I was on the lease but never lived there and it was a one year lease. The court did rule I was responsible for those cost along with the other signer on th...e lease. Then the landlord wanted more or he said he would take me back to court for cost that happen after the judgement. Mr Shenkin felt the landlord was just trying to bully me with threats and had no case. So I hired Mr. Shenkin to write a letter and state item by item my legal status as it related to the landlords reasoning for each item. The letter stated basically that I owed nothing because the landlord had not case and Mr. Shenkin explain why to each item. I never heard from the landlord agian after he recieved the letter.
