Carly Stadum-Liang is the Managing Attorney of Stadum-Liang Immigration in Oakland, California.
As a dedicated, passionate advocate, Carly devotes her practice to representing and defending individuals in asylum matters, removal proceedings, family-based visa petitions, waivers of inadmissibility, VAWA and U-visa petitions, and adjustment of status and naturalization applications. At Georgetown Law, Carly worked as a student attorney in Georgetown’s Center for Applied Legal Studies, where she represented a Nepali asylum seeker in immigration court, helping him win asylum. While a law student, Carly interned with the Arlington Immigration Court, the U.S. Department of State, the UN Refugee Agency, the Southern Poverty Law Center, and the Women’s Refugee Commission. Carly earned her Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies at Concordia College.
