At the start of my injury, I couldn't turn a door knob without pain or open some doors without pushing them open with my hips. Now, I can hold my whole body weight on one hand. He did what good lawyers do; be responsive to calls, on top of deadlines, be timely with filing paperwork/other court injunctions, and able to adequately prepare me for a deposition, and explain legal proceedings clearly and effectively. However, more importantly Jeremey is empathetic, understanding, and a good communicator. While all these characteristics might not be what you might typically think of as making a good lawyer, after experiencing them with Jeremy, I believe they are essential in a good worker compensation lawyer. The workers compensation process is long, drawn out, confusing, and I think many who've gone through it would agree- it's traumatic. Tough decisions were thrown my way and painful experiences needed to be rehashed over and over and new challenging experiences and confusing things happened because of this process. Having an empathetic human being on your team, who can also clear up misunderstandings that might happen is paramount so you can work as a team for the best outcomes of your case together. On top of that, he personable, fun and interesting to talk to! If you are considering working with Jeremy, I think you would be lucky to have him as your lawyer. First of all, Mr. J Perkins Esq. was very keen and professional. He worked on my workers compensation case after, my initial lawyer recommendation.(His practice grew thus, would not give our case the proper time essential.)
