Biography
For more than three decades, Mukesh Advani has helped individuals and businesses use practical and business solutions to resolving disputes. This approach has resulted in saving his Clients substantial amount of money and allowed them to focus on their core business. Not all disputes resolve early and some need to go through litigation in Court system. For those disputes, Mukesh is also a highly skilled and passionate litigation and appellate lawyer who has represented business, both small and large (including Fortune 500 Companies) and individual clients in civil litigation matters. Mukesh has provided serviced in a wide range of civil litigation, including insurance law, employment law, commercial litigation, business litigation, real estate litigation, and appellate law.
On the Corporate side Mukesh has provided services to small businesses and technology start-ups and emerging growth companies in general corporate law matters, equity financing, stock option plans, employment law matters, commercial contracts, intellectual property licensing agreements, joint venture agreements and outsourcing agreements. Mukesh has also served as outside general counsel for emerging growth companies.
Most recently, Mukesh worked for more than five years with Dental & Medical Counsel, PC, a Healthcare law firm that provides a wide range of services to healthcare providers such as physicians, dentists, pharmacists, optometrists, and veterinarians. Mukesh also represented medical service providers in disciplinary proceedings instituted by their licensing boards and assisted them with their compliance obligations under Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
For the last 30 years, Mukesh has been continuously rated A.V. (very high (legal ability) to preeminent) by Martindale-Hubbell and included in its Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. Mukesh is also included in the 2014, 2015, 2018, and 2019 edition of the Northern California Super Lawyers.
