Biography
Cherie T. Davis focuses exclusively on Family Law and is one of the most accomplished practitioners in the Tri-Valley area. Ms. Davis has been practicing Family Law for over twenty years and has been certified by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specializations in Family Law since 2001. She is licensed to practice before all California courts and has experience in every type of Family Law matter, including dissolution of marriage or domestic partnership, child and spousal support, child custody, and complex property division. Ms. Davis also has experience serving as a mediator and is available to serve as a private judge for parties who wish to avoid the protracted court system. She is a member of the Earl Warren Inn of Court, Alameda County Bar Association (ACBA), and the East Alameda County Bar Association (EALBA) and their family law sections.
Ms. Davis received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Santa Clara University School of Law in 1989, where she received recognition for academic excellence and was a member of the School of Law's Moot Court. She is a life-long Bay Area resident and attended California State University - East Bay, where she received her Bachelors of Arts in Political Science. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, movies, and walking her dogs.
