You won’t regret his counsel.

Stuart is a steadfast attorney who knows how to get things done. To say my case is complicated is an understatement, he’s never failed to proceed with my best interests.

We have our son back because of the Mackenzie Law Firm

Awesome work. The other parent took our son and vanished. The Mackenize Law Firm (Hi Kevin!) helped through this entire ordeal.

The attorney my Ex wishes he hired.

Mr. MacKenzie represented me through my divorce, like most people going through a divorce, it was a very difficult time for me. Mr. MacKenzie was patient and explained everything in detail. He listened to my concerns and was honest with me about what to expect. Mr. MacKenzie and his staff were ava...ilable to assist me with all my questions even following the settlement of my divorce. With the help of Mr. MacKenzie I have what I consider the ideal custody order. My ex-husband and I co-parent in a healthy way and I receive the financial support that is reasonable for my situation I am so grateful for the help and guidance I received from Mr. MacKenzie and would strongly recommend him to my friends and family. My ex-husband even supports this recommendation.

Beware, initially you think Mr. Stuart MacKenzie is your advocate but midway he's checked out to new cases

Mr. Stuart MacKenzie started off as seemingly trustworthy, intelligent, competent attorney. Around midway through my divorce process he and his paralegals would repeatedly "drop the ball" many times with important issues related to my marital settlement issues and final judgement too. Frankly, aro...und midway of my divorce process he appeared to lose all interest in my case while admittedly taking on more new cases and being very busy now and almost "checked out" of my case before it finished. Mr. MacKenzie and his incompetent paralegal would consistently miss costly and important/critical issues/details to my case which ultimately negatively effected my final divorce judgement. Once Mr. MacKenzie's law firm got busier with newer cases he was no longer representing my best interest but preferred to quickly close my case and/or he would repeatedly yield to the ex spouse's demands even when I told Mr. MacKenzie to ignore the ex spouse's inappropriateness. In any case, Mr. MacKenzie was focused on building more cases for his law firm by compromising my case with his incompetent paralegal or he'd repeatedly rush to close my case with not much forethought and certainly not representing my best interest --much like a "don't care and moving on to the next case" message to me. Sadly, immediately after my final Judgement Mr. MacKenzie would not be available to me to discuss my final Jugement for clarifications, interpretation, general guidance and next steps. I felt like Mr. MacKenzie deliberately left me in the dust immediately post Judgement or he'd repeatedly pass me on to his incompetent Paralegal who was literally useless and consistently error prone on so many costly motions, declarations due to lack of knowledge & lack of experience. I would not recommend Stuart MacKenzie now that I know how he fully operates from start to finish and beyond. Sadly, I should have trusted my gut and fired this attorney before my final judgement. It's a lesson learned and not to be repeated again!

I have discussed the complaints made by this anonymous complainant with everyone in the office. Not only are we unable to identify this person in order to review his or her file, but none of us believes the allegations made actually occurred. It is not unusual for a dissatisfied party in any legal case to hold someone else responsible for an outcome they do not like. I take great pride in my professionalism and, in fact, have had Judges make referrals to our office and have also received calls from out-of-area attorneys who ask me questions about the procedures of the Court and about the Judges. I would never “yield” to the other spouse’s demands over the needs of my clients, do not “miss critical issues,” and tell every client when their case has completed that they can call me post-Judgment with any questions and will not be charged for such calls. Lastly, our paralegal is anything but incompetent and, in fact, completed her certificate at Cal State East Bay. She is actually very very good at what she does. She would not be working in our office if she did not now what she were doing as I would become aware of that fact very quickly. Stuart I. MacKenzie

Great Attorney

You are lucky If you are reading my comment even you are unfortunate like me that have to face the divorce. He really made me feel like God opens the window in my life. Mr. Mackenzie helped his associate started my case, so neat. He even didn't raise up the attorney fee at the time i switched to him.... 1. Experienced. 2. Professional. 3. Very clear monthly statement. I have never got over charged $1 extra. (no exaggeration!) 4. Never do anything extra/unnecessary which have saved me lot of money. 5. Never missed anything either. 6. Most important of representing, always on my side and tried very hard. 7. Always keep me informed. 8. Very nice staffs in the office. What else a divorce person can expect from his/her attorney?
