Doug Prutton was my attorney for a critical lawsuit against an abusive, internationally known employer. He presented my case and the evidence we had collected to the Superior Court of California in such a way that it became extremely difficult for anyone to find a compelling argument against us, including the huge, well known law firm that was representing my former employer. The opposition even went so far as to file an appeal with THE COURT OF APPEAL OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, FIRST APPELLATE DISTRICT, DIVISION 4, in an attempt to create a crack in the armor of the strong case that Doug had presented. Doug answered the appeal with stunning results. The Court of Appeal of the State of California found in favor of every argument that Doug presented which resulted in a huge landmark decision regarding a critical component of my case and their decision ended benefitting hundreds of thousands of employees throughout the State of California. Doug’s professionalism and knowledge of Federal and State employment law is unmatched, and I am so glad that he took my case. I will never forget what he was able to accomplish for all employees in State of California.

Attny Prutton was referred to me through the Bar Assn - I was seeking info on wrongful death law in relation to a murdered family member. The information he shared with me was very helpful in my decision to pursue litigation. As litigation needed to be filed in another state, I did not retain him.

Do to a misunderstanding that now has been resolved I have changed my assessment of Mr.Prutton. He has been on top of my case and has done a terrific job in representing me and keeping me informed. Please disregard my previous review.

I engaged Mr. Prutton to represent in a age discrimination case. He seemed very engaged and felt I had a case but wanted me to go through the proper channels and engage the State of California Fair Housing and Employment. Once this was done I emailed him about what their stance was but didn't hear back from him so I gave up on the case. Then about three months later he emailed and wanted to know if I ever received the letter from the state for the right to take legal actions. I hadn't since he never responded back to me. He asked me to ask for the letter and he would contact the defendant to seek a settlement. This was back in October of 2013 at which time he said he would more than likely hear from them in about a week or so. He also stated if they did not want to settle then litigation would be the next step. I have emailed on (4) different occasions wanting to know where the case was at and of now he has never responded to any of the (4) emails I have sent him since October of last year. I find his professionalism to be questionable and do not understand why he can not respond to any of my emails.
