Ms. Madueña is an expert immigration lawyer in the Bay Area handling a wide range of immigration matters, including complex cases with criminal issues. She has successfully argued for the release of clients in immigration detention, and has obtained Adjustment of Status, Asylum, Cancellation of Removal, and NACARA for her clients against the government in Immigration Court. Ms. Madueña has also obtained Lawful Permanent Residency, Asylum, Naturalization, NACARA, and Waivers before the immigration office. Notably, when she was a first-year associate, Ms. Madueña presented a complex criminal and immigration oral argument to the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and received a published decision in that case (Gil v. Holder, 651 F.3d 1000 (9th Cir. 2011)). She is also a Certified Legal Specialist in Immigration & Nationality Law with the California State Bar, which requires lawyers to pass a written examination, demonstrate a high level of experience, fulfill ongoing educational requirements, and provide favorable recommendations from judges and attorneys familiar with their work.

Above and beyond my expectations

Amazing Bilingual Attorney with big heart and very knowledgable

Our family is so thankful!

I am is so grateful for the service of Claribel P. Madueña and her staff. They exceeded my expectations of assistance in obtaining United States Visa’s for my wife and 5-year-old baby which was more complicated since they were born in separate countries. Through the entire process they were always quick not only to answer questions but reassure my family during stressful times that everything would be alright. If I had tried to do the process on my own we would still be waiting or worse denied. It pays to have an expert consultant for important family matters that understand the law and process. Great lawyer!

I was really hoping i could know Claribel earlier, she is such a nice and considerate lawyer. I handed my case to her and she solved my problem in a very short time, i thought i would wait for a whole year but it came up only half year. I am really appreciated and feel very luck that i meet her! before her, I waste a whole important year with other agency. She is very thoughtful for her client, which made me surprised that she is not that kind person who cares money more,she cares about you and your situation more! She is really nice , patience,efficient and responsibility. If you ask me any recommendation about best lawyer, Claribel is the one you have to meet.

She's great

My fiancé's case was a difficult case with a small probability of success. To our surprise, Claribel was able to redirect the negative arguments in order to successfully convince the judge to remain for the time being. Thank you Claribel!
