Terrible

Very unprofessional. Has had her license to practice suspended in the past for personal misconduct which is very easy to believe. I think she wrote the majority of the “glowing” reviews herself. She will respond to this review in a very defensive way and probably attack —which is why this is posted... anonymously.

We are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your experience. Our primary goal is to provide excellent service to all of our clients. If you are open to discussing your concerns further, we would appreciate the opportunity to address them directly. Please feel free to contact us to arrange a time to talk. We believe that open communication is key to resolving any issues and improving our services. We also want to clarify that all of our reviews are genuine and written by our actual clients. Also, we have represented well over 2,000 very satisfied clients in my career, as attested to by the 5 star reviews received over the years. Regarding the suspension you mentioned, it is indeed public information and was resolved a long time ago. It has no bearing on the quality of our work or the dedication we bring to our clients. Transparency and honesty are values we hold dear. Be wary of anonymous reviewers.

WOW

She is really wonderful and I am very grateful. If you are able to retain this woman consider yourself lucky. She went way above and beyond for me.

Would not recommend. Unprofessional

I was going through a child support battle and I found Barbara on Yelp and made an appointment due to her reviews, which I thought were outstanding. I was impressed with meeting her and felt confident with her representing me. I met her that 1 time and all other communication was via email. The day... of the hearing all seemed alright until it was our turn to get heard. Miss Kuehn conducted herself in a very unprofessional manner. She rolled her eyes, cut off the other attorney and would sigh loudly. The judge took notice and the case was over before we even had a chance to get heard. Following the hearing, Miss Kuehn had the audacity to solicit her side line business with ACN to me. A couple days later she and her ACN associate contacted me to attend one of their "business meetings" Needless to say I was uninterested. At that time I did not receive a statement of the services "rendered" so I emailed her requesting the statement of charges. The bill was over $3000??!!! Holy Toledo! I expected to pay but definitely not that much! Especially since I had only seen her 2 occasions. I went down the charges and saw that she charged me $70 for a thank you email?! Each email I was charged $35??? That's outrageous! I couldn't believe what I was reviewing. It's not enough that we didn't even get to present our side, but she solicited her sideline business AND she was charging me for emails?! I ended up having to hire another attorney to essentially correct what she did not. I was not nickeled and dimed as I was with Miss Kuehn. To date I have not paid Miss Kuehn the balance owed because I firmly believe she did not do what she was supposed to do and I had to pay another attorney to do what she should've done in the first place,

This is full of misrepresentations, exaggerations and half truths. The behavior described of me in court is something that I never do, I don't roll my eyes, nor do I sigh. My professionalism can be attested to by the over 2,000 satisfied clients that I have represented over the 20+ years practicing law. A case would not be over with without being heard by the Judge. Judges do not just hear from one side and make a decision without hearing from both sides. That is not how hearings are held. Never have I had a matter where a Judge would not allow one side to present their case, make a decision and send everyone away. In the Fee Agreement, it is clearly described what the client is billed for, and e-mails are one of those items billed to the client. We do not "nickel and dime" but bill according to the Fee Agreement that the client signs to engage the firm, having initialed each paragraph as well, acknowledging that each paragraph has been read before signing. The dollar figures mentioned by this person tell me that this information is gathered from several years ago. Billing statements are sent out periodically/monthly and are very detailed. Beware of a posting from someone who is afraid to show their identity,

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"I met Barbara when she was my opposing counsel in a case. Barbara is knowledgeable and truly advocates for her clients. Personally, Barbara is one of the most pleasant and reasonable attorneys with whom to work. She will always try to negotiate a settlement before cranking up to litigation mode, which saves clients money, time and much grief. Despite being disciplined by the bar, I have always found Barbara to be one of the most honest and trustworthy attorneys in the family court. I also believe that everyone makes mistakes and that Barbara shouldn't be judged by one indiscretion alone. I totally and unreservedly endorse Barbara!!"
