I had fallen 16 ft from a deck that broke, I was injured and pain is a part of my life now. That said it was a difficult case in terms of liability issues that the insurance company was claiming. I was in a car accident. I had no prior back injury, now I do. He nor his secretary ever came with me to my doctor's appointment for the opposing side's second opinion. I went and retrieved ALL my medical records as he asked me to do, then he charged me for it. He never sent me my medical records bac...k. He NEVER sent me an itemized bill. The bad driver's insurance company was going to settle at first for $20,000, and he told me that it was worth more. The insurance company ended up only paying $20,000 and he took his full percentage by law. Leaving me with very little after all the specialists expenses. When I drove all the way to San Francisco for a deposition which I could tell he was not prepared for, he went to lunch with the opposing side. I was not included. I found that highly suspect and unprofessional. He settled my case without discussing anything with me. He called me to tell me he had ran out on the statute of limitations and because of this I was getting less.
