I was very satisfied by the work of Mr. Moussavian. I found myself in need of a lawyer, and was lucky to have had this fine lawyer help with my case. Because of his on point expertise, I got the best outcome I could. He is a very good communicator, always available for questions throughout the months of preparation. He is open to discussing all sides of the problem, and advises with common sense and knowledge of the law. Because he does so many cases, he knows the people in the courts, so his experience is very valuable while making decisions. I never had to appear in court personally, as Arash handled my case every step of the way. This enabled me to not loose valuable work time during my case. Always on time, always present, never missing an appearance, always returning my phone calls or emails, provided me with a sense of security that my best interests were first and foremost. He is very understanding, helpful, and extremely respectful. His honesty was greatly appreciated, I always knew were I stood in this case. I highly recommend Arash, peace of mind is guaranteed with him at the helm.
I am the owner of Arash Moussavian Law Enterprises a criminal defense and entertainment law firm in San Francisco, California. I have been practicing law since 2000. In Fall 2008 I left the firm where I was the senior associate to obtain an advanced law degree in entertainment law/intellectual property from U.C. Berkeley School of Law (“Boalt”). Boalt is ranked as the number one US law school in the intellectual property (“IP”) field. My entire coursework was in the IP field.
After passing the bar exam in 1999 (on the first attempt) I enrolled in the Music and Recording Industry program at San Francisco State University. My entire coursework was in the music field. I obtained a juris doctor law degree from U.C. Hastings College of the Law (“Hastings”). Hastings is a well-respected law school particularly in California.
I obtained my bachelor of arts degree from U.C. Berkeley (“Cal.”). I graduated with distinction from Cal. Prior to attending Cal. I was an honors scholarship recipient at Columbia University in New York City. I was also my high school valedictorian.
I handle approximately 40 weekly criminal hearings from Sonoma County South to Monterey County and East to Merced County. I handle all phases of criminal cases, including arraignments, pre-trial conferences, settlement conferences, preliminary hearings.
I also draft and argue various petitions and motions.
