Heather Elizabeth Borlase

This review is a long time coming and I meant to post it long ago. I have worked with Heather two times during very difficult periods. Heather helped me when I was recovering from cancer and lost my job, and before that when I was dealing with a hostile work environment. She is incredibly informat...ive, supportive and professional (yet compassionate) person to work with, and I appreciate her no-nonsense style. I can't say enough wonderful things about her, she truly did all she could with my best interests at heart and thoroughly prepared me for the daunting task of dealing with mediation and possibly a lawsuit. I never hesitate to recommend her and her partner Alan Bayer to anyone who is dealing with injustice in the workplace.

I met with Heather looking for advice after I was laid off while 6 months pregnant. She was very well informed of the laws, told me what my options were and what she could do for me and spoke to me honestly, which I appreciated. She gave me all the tools and information I needed to make a decision... on how to proceed, with no pressure from her. When I met with her she gave me her full attention, asking tons of question to get the full scope of what was going on, as well as answering all of my questions. Although I never want to be in the situation where I need a lawyer, if I did, I would not hesitate to hire Heather.
