Biography
Anne Gyemant Paris is a San Francisco attorney focused on reproductive law including adoption, surrogacy, egg donor and sperm donor, and parentage.
A graduate of U.C. Berkeley and Hastings College of Law, Anne has specialized in public interest law through her work in immigration, domestic violence and family law. Anne began her career as a Presidential Management Fellow working on the area of international adoption and family-related fimmigration policy. She went on to launch two successful legal services programs focused on the family. She has continued to serve families through her practice in adoption and fertility law.
Previously, Anne created a pro-bono program in the San Francisco Superior Court for volunteer attorneys to represent victims of domestic violence in restraining order hearings. She has created and launched Legal Services programs for La Casa de las Madres and Break the Cycle in San Francisco, where she provided legal advice on restraining orders, family law, immigration and employment law issues to women in crisis situations. She provided legal advice for teen domestic violence victims, as well as educated youth in San Francisco Public Schools. She works closely with local community leaders, law enforcement, the Courts, and the legal community.
Anne has spoken on various panels over the last ten years, and has served as a board member for several organizations, including Queen's Bench Women's Bar Association, Jewish Community Relations Council, Alvarado School PTA Executive Board, On Your Feet Foundation, and the American Jewish Committee. She is also a graduate of the Emerge program, a political leadership training program for democratic women.

Disappointing Experience
Our experience with Anne was disappointing. In our opinion, there were frequent delays throughout the process, and we ultimately felt it was necessary to seek new counsel to complete our adoption. Based on our experience, we would not choose to work with her again or recommend her services.
