Michael W Blacksburg

Michael Blacksburg is an attorney dedicated to serving individual, family and business clients in the San Francisco area. Throughout his career he has been a staunch advocate for San Francisco's locally-owned businesses, tenants, and families from all walks of life.

Michael has over ten years experience helping people with the full spectrum of legal issues that arise, from preparing their estate plan to negotiating an agreement for their business. Recently, Michael took a sabbatical to care for his six-month old son. While walking around with his son, Michael met a number of parents with babies and older children. He was struck by how many parents shared that they knew that they needed to get a Will and identify a guardian for their children but they just hadn't gotten around to it. Michael wanted to make this important task easy and affordable for people with or without children. The Wills Workshop was born out of this experience.

Michael is a rare find in today's legal world: a true generalist who can be your family lawyer and your business lawyer. He lives in Marin with his wife and son. Michael draws on his experience as a small business owner, a world traveler, an Eagle Scout, and a member of the Burning Man community.
