Biography
Kavita has been practicing for over 18 years focusing on litigation of property disputes including landlord/tenant (residential and commercial), partition actions, fair housing/discrimination, easement, non-disclosure and HOA litigation. Kavita has spoken on numerous continuing legal education programs for the California State Bar and Bar Association of San Francisco. She has also given landlord/tenant seminars to brokers, property managers and owners. From 2013-2015, and in 2020, Kavita served as an update author for the CEB California Landlord-Tenant Practice Guide. In 2018, 2019 and 2020 Kavita was voted onto the Super lawyers list of Northern California Rising Stars and in 2023 and 2024 was voted onto the “Northern California Super Lawyers. She served as the Chair of the Executive Committee of the Real Property Section of the San Francisco Bar Association from 2019 through 2021 and continues to serve on the Executive Committee.
