Justin X. Wang graduated from Southwest University of Politics and Law, People’s Republic of China, in 1983. After two years of working in the same university, Mr. Wang came to the United States to pursuit further studies. He was a visiting scholar at Columbia University School of Law in New York from 1985 to 1986. He obtained an LL.M from the University of California at Berkeley, and Jurist Doctor from University of California Hastings College of Law. Mr. Wang was licensed to practice law in China in 1985. After passing the California Bar Examination in 1993, Mr. Wang became an attorney in California.
Mr. Wang and Mr. Baughman founded Baughman & Wang in 1993. Since then, Mr. Wang has been focusing on immigration law, especially business immigration, removal and asylum, immigration appeals to AAO or BIA, federal court litigations involving immigration issues, such as FBI name check or other CIS delay, or declaratory relief for agency’s failure to promulgate regulations, or appeals of the BIA decisions to the court of appeals.
During the past 17 years, Baughman & Wang has represented hundreds of companies and individuals in their immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions, removal proceedings, appeals and litigated more than 250 cases in federal courts. From simple H-1 visas, L-1 visas, P-visas, O-1 visas to complicated investors’ visas(EB-5), multinational executive/manager immigrant visas, asylum applications, removal proceedings, and various appeals to the AAO and BIA, Baughman & Wang has again and again proven its record of excellency.
In addition to immigration law practice, Baughman & Wang has represented clients in criminal and civil litigations, personal injuries, corporate matters ranging from incorporation to shareholders agreement, purchase of business, buy-out and trade mark/trade name applications.
Mr. Wang is a regular Chinese radio commentator. His bi-weekly Singtao Chinese Radio program is extremely popular (FM 96.1, every other Wednesday afternoon from 12:30 to 1:00 PM Pacific Time). He also receives interviews from the media and writes frequently for Chinese media about immigration issues. His immigration forum on is very popular among reasders.
