I came to the U.S. in 2019 to pursue a master’s degree at a seminary. At the same time, I noticed that the environment for religious faith in my home country was worsening. The four-hour interview completely drained me—I could only mechanically respond to all the interrogations. I felt that my performance was mediocre. After what felt like an eternity of waiting, on March 8th, I finally received a letter from USCIS. The moment I tore open the envelope and saw the word “approval,” I fell to my knees at the doorway, crying out loud—thanking God for His faithfulness and feeling deeply grateful for this result. I arrived in the United States in 2019. I failed to pass the interview in 2021. I found Lawyer Wang. After waiting for a long time, I finally went to court on June 4, 2024 and passed the interview.
